Bulong Estate is a family owned and run vineyard, winery and restaurant. Situated in the Upper Yarra Valley just off the Warburton Highway. Our cellar door and restaurant is surrounded by our mature vineyard and has superb views to Mount Donna Buang and the Yarra Ranges.

Our 33 hectare vineyard is planted in a natural amphitheatre, featuring north facing, well drained slopes with an elevation of 140 meters above sea level. The area is recognised as being one of the best in the Yarra Valley for the production of cool climate grapes of distinction.

The wines can be tasted and the views enjoyed at the cellar door and restaurant. The cellar door is open 7 days, 11am to 5pm (excluding Good Friday, Christmas day and Boxing Day). Lunches are served Friday to Sunday, dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.
We also take bookings for functions of up to 60 people, such as Weddings, birthdays and other special occasions.

Bastille Day Celebrations
Saturday night July 11th is now fully booked. We are extending the celebrations to lunch on Sunday 12th of July. Call us now to reserve your table to celebrate Bastille day in true French style with a fabulous French feast. We will serve the same Bastille Day Menu on both days.

On Sunday 26th of July, Michael our Danish Assistant Chef is looking forward to presenting specialities from his homeland. Call us now to book your table for a Danish Luncheon........

Closed for a well earned rest
We will be taking a well earned rest for the following dates:

  • Restaurant closes Friday 26th June and re-opens Friday July 10th.
  • Cellar Door closes Friday 26th June and re-opens Monday July 6th.
