Merlot |
 |
Merlot
for this wine was selected from two contrasting parts of the
vineyard providing us with fruit full of richness and structure.
The wine displays intense cherry and plum characters with
well integrated spicy oak coming from extended maturation
in French oak barriques. It will complement a wide range of
food and is ideally suited to red meats. Short to medium term
cellaring will enhance its complexity.

Cabernet Sauvignon |
 |
The fruit
was hand picked from low yielding vines in the middle of April.
The reulting wine is classic Cabernet Sauvignon with rich
blackberry and blackcurrant fruit characters and is supported
by dusty, fine grained tannins, providing a long, clean finish.
The structure of this wine will support medium to long term
cellaring, however it is drinking beautifully now.
